Arash is the CEO of Yocale and the Managing Partner of Arete Venture Capital Corporation. He has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, FastCompany, and Inc. Magazine among many other publications. Arash was named the Top Forty Under 40 business executive and The 30 Most Creative CEOs to Watch.
As a co-founder and CEO of Yocale, Arash has built the startup from the ground up to a staff of over 30 people – winning the prestigious Silicon Valley’s Top 50 Startup award amongst 2000 companies in over 13 countries. Yocale is also the only Canadian official partner of Google RWG. At Arete, Arash has worked on over $350M in projects in multi-unit real estate development and construction.
Previously Arash was Executive Vice President at Aptean where he managed a half-billion-dollar business. In earlier Executive roles, he grew the company’s largest global division – responsible for a $100M P&L worldwide – to profitability, transformed its Professional Services department, and grew the customer base to thousands around the world.
Arash possesses global business acumen, is versed in corporate finance, and has built great strategic partnerships with companies such as Microsoft and Google. He has held a variety of sales, marketing, and general management roles including Worldwide VP, EVP Professional Services, VP of Sales Consulting, and Director of Worldwide Business Development. His global experience spans many industries including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate.
Arash studied Engineering at Simon Fraser University and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Executive Management. Arash is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) recognized by the International Council of Management Consulting Institute (ICMCI). He is also an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, the Young Entrepreneur Council, and the FastCompany Executive Board.
